We paid a visit to Koke water catchment.
This vital water source, which serves the surrounding community, had faced significant degradation due to pollution and
infrastructure challenges. Our team took the initiative to restore the catchment and improve the quality and accessibility
of water for the population.
The rehabilitation involved:
– Extensive cleaning of the catchment area, removing plastics and other waste materials that posed a threat to the environment and water quality.
– Opening the water runway, ensuring the free and efficient flow of water, which had previously been obstructed by debris.
– Improving the surrounding infrastructure to prevent further blockages and ensure the long-term functionality of the catchment.
The project was carried out independently by Hope for Humanity Outreach, without external funding or sponsorship. However,
the work completed is just the beginning. The community continues to face challenges related to water security, and further
development is necessary to ensure the sustainability of the Koke water Catchment.
We are now seeking partnerships and sponsorships to support the next phase of the project, which aims to build reservoirs,
upgrade water infrastructure, and implement long-term solutions for sustainable water management. This will not only enhance
water availability but also safeguard the environment and improve the livelihoods of the many families who rely on this resource.
We invite potential sponsors, partners, and organizations committed to environmental sustainability and community development
to collaborate with us in this critical initiative. Together, we can ensure that the Koke water catchment remains a reliable
source of clean water for now and generations to come.
